Fundraising – Lila Williams reported we are looking for a location that does not charge a fee. Contact Lila with your ideas. To get a raffle license, we must register with the state biannually, registration cost is $100 every two years, and the cost of the license is $20 per year per event.

Scholarship – Cathy Barish - Book Award – Stockton could not guarantee that the recipient be a woman. Do we still wish to continue this? Contact Cathy if you are willing to assist with this committee.
Convention – Sandy SantaMaria - Accepting ideas and theme suggestions for table centerpieces. Baskets - give Red Hat items to Lila and Picnic/Beach items to Natalie.
Social Committee – Next meeting - 5/7 at the Mays Landing library - Our State president will be attending and we will be installing chapter officers for the 2014-2016 biennium. Suggestions for dinner?
Old Business:
Get the chapter App –Jane and Janel are continuing to assist members in downloading the chapter app Rose and Key from AppCatch.
Sentence for convention - XI Chapter is an eclectic group of current and retired educators who not only enjoy getting together for fun but are committed to volunteering, outreach and giving back to the community !

- Natalie Morris and Linda Zarych - Members pre-assemble bags for the Women’s Center. Sisters can work on a bag together. Bags should include sweat pants and a sweat shirt, t-shirt, socks, slip-on sandals, underwear, washcloth, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb or brush, and lotion.
- Sandra Santa Maria – Friday, February 21st, 4:00PM, sewing party for Little Dresses for Haiti. We have plenty of pillowcases, but need grosgrain ribbon, appliques, straight pins, sharp scissors, and machines. Party at Sandy’s - 120 Rochelle Ln. EHT
- Jane Flanagan - upcoming visits to Gilda’s Club are 3/11, 5/13, and 7/15.
- Jane Flanagan - upcoming dates for the Atlantic City Rescue Mission are 3/30, and 6/1. Six members are needed per visit.
