World Fellowship/Yearbook – Randy Levy – we are waiting to hear of this year’s assignment, yearbook is done and updated on our app.
Nominations – Linda Zarych – Nominations are being accepted for the 2015-2017 state board.
Social Committee – Thank you to Gail Harris for picking up all of the food!

- Treasurer ‘s Report– Stephanie Gibbons - Starting Balance 2/7/2014 $4,235.04, Deposit and Interest $306.21, Total Debits $1,012.17, Ending Balance 10/3/2014 $3529.08, Motion to approve by Carol Bennett, second by Gail Siegelman.
- Vice President – Jane Flanagan - nothing at this time.
- Secretary’s Report –Diane Brunetti - Motion to approve May 10th meeting minutes by Gail Harris, second by Caroline Genna.
- Corresponding Secretary – Winnie Witmer - Thank you note from Mary Conover, AZS president, for our hospitality in May. Thank you note from Cheryl Bonsall, librarian at Northfield, for her $200 grant. Claudine Keenan, Dean of Education, Richard Stockton College wrote to thank us for offering our book award and looks forward to working with us. She offered to host our meeting when we honor our book award winner, possibly February. We would like to award our teacher grants at that time as well.
- Parliamentarian – Gail Harris – By Laws are coming along nicely, they were turned into the state and revisions will be incorporated by the December meeting.

- Fill out multiple choice awards survey, https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2ZHBX2C, from AZS.
- No state meeting in September, next meeting will be in January. Our assignment is complete since we are using the same centerpieces.
- We will be raffling off convention registration for one sister at the December meeting.
- We will sell left over ornaments and jewelry at convention. Convention baskets are complete. Convention dates are April 17th - 19th. 2015.
- 10 to Spend in Hammonton – At 4:30, Thursday, October 16th we will be meeting at the Golden Feather gift shop on the White Horse Pike in Hammonton to spend our $10 certificates. For each certificate redeemed our chapter receives $5! After our shopping we will head to Marcello’s for dinner. Join us for a fun night out!
- Pick a time to help out tomorrow. Last minute needs or questions. The Press is coming! Go Barb! Check out our 77+ baskets!
- Natalie Morris and Linda Zarych - Women’s Center. Linda and Natalie will create a Sign-Up-Genius for needed materials to complete bags. (Bags should include sweat pants and a sweat shirt, t-shirt, socks, slip-on sandals, underwear, washcloth, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb or brush, and lotion. We label the completed bags indicating they are a gift from Xi.)
- Sandra Santa Maria - Little Dresses for Haiti – awesome article – THANK YOU BARB! Because of it we have had donations and should only need appliques for a while. Our next date will be after the holidays. This year we are selling ornaments for $5, and the left over jewelry up to and during convention. 35-40 dresses are done and we will be sending them this weekend with Shama, Stephanie's Haitian contact.
- Jane Flanagan - Gilda’s Club summer dates were great. Next date is Thursday, November 13th, 6:45 – 8 PM, Dinner at Charlies.
- Janel Schafer – Atlantic City Rescue Mission Dinner Service - November 2nd, Sunday - 3:30 - 6 PM, we need 6 volunteers. – Dinner TBD

- Contacted the Dean of the School of Education who will disseminate the information to School of Education students.
- Janel Schafer received a $900 Lucile Cornetet Individual Professional Development Award to attend ISTE 2015 in Philly in June.

- Fall Open House will take place on October 24th, Friday night at Janel’s house, look for new members and plan to attend.
- October 30th - Chapter Dues Deadline – after this you will be dropped from the rolls
- November 17th, Monday - 4:30 PM - Executive Meeting (budget planning) at Janel's House, Egg Harbor City
- December 3rd - Wednesday - 4:00 PM - Holiday Meeting and Social at Janel's House- Cutthroat Santa $25 limit

- Contact Linda Zarych if you are interested in attending the Northeast Regional Convention in Baltimore July 8, 2015 - July 11, 2015.
- Making Strides Against Cancer - Support Jane in this cause either by walking with her or donating here. Attend the "Pink Party" at Amy Gold's on October 18th, or come out and walk on Sunday, October 19th.
